Resources for Veterans. USC currently has about 900 veterans at both the undergraduate and graduate degree
 and is deeply committed to providing veterans with various support solutions. You will find many resources that may help you both initiate your education benefits as well as assist you with the change to campus life.
The two offices that are main USC that support veterans would be the Veterans Certification Office and the Transfer Success & Veteran Student Program.
Veterans Certification Office: The goal with this workplace would be to help initiate and process your education advantages, namely the GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program. Every year about 60% of our first-year applicants apply for the December 1st merit-based scholarship deadline. We get over 47,000 applications so it is an extremely competitive process. These pupils are achieving at the level that is highest across the board. We award the Trustee scholarship that is full-tuition Presidential half-tuition scholarship, and the one-quarter tuition Deans scholarship. ‘Wait. So all I have to do is submit my application by 1st? december’
By and large, yes! (There are exceptions for this; understand a reaction to the following question). The merit-based scholarships administered by the Office of Admission only require submission regarding the Common Application and USC Writing Supplement for consideration. However, there are more scholarships distributed by USC which can be administered by businesses outside the working office of Admission. ‘What forms of pupils get scholarships?’
We are looking for various types of pupils. There was not really a key algorithm that determines whether a student is worth a scholarship. We assess everything into the application, considering both qualitative and factors that are quantitative.
